Soaring with Angels

Filled with rage,

locked in her cage

of despair,

she seeks freedom

longs to soar without care.



Angels take flight

in the dark night

of dreams;

Heaven opens arms..

in radiance it gleams.



Eyes search the sky,

her heart asks why

it must be;

If angels can soar,

why can't she be free?
