Surrender's Sonnet

Moonlight glows on a clear summer evening;

Honeysuckle blossoms perfume the air;

Your hand over my heart, swiftly beating

I feel so alive, knowing that You care.

Your eyes are dark as they pierce through my soul;

Your touch inflames me…oh, what total bliss!

For the first time in my life, I feel whole

Oh, how I live for moments such as this.

I surrender, for I belong to You,

Can you feel me tremble with just Your touch?

I obey… it is what I long to do

I never realized I could feel so much.

Your whispers are like a beautiful song.

Kneeling before You is where I belong.
